Flylogix CEO Charles Tavner addressed the Innovation Agora program at CERAWeek energy and technology conference recently.
One of the key themes of the conference was the need for new thinking and transformation in energy systems.
Charles presented and shared concrete data and results, resulting from the Flylogix collaboration with the Net Zero Technology Centre, SeekOps and six major energy companies.
It has demonstrated how Flylogix UAV technology can play a significant role in helping energy companies meet the COP 26 Global Methane Pledge.
“Even having fully immersed ourselves in the subject of methane emissions for the last couple of years, it was really quite an eye-opener to be reminded first-hand just what a big deal it is in the energy industry,” comments Charles.
CERA (Cambridge Energy Research Associates) was founded in 1983. What started as a gathering of CERA clients has now evolved into CERAWeek, one of the most important forums for understanding global energy markets, geopolitics and technology, attracting 6,000 delegates from more than 100 countries.
Speakers include government ministers, senators – including John Kerry, now Joe Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate – CEOs and academics.
